As just about every subscription service including Apple TV+ raises prices, “Star Trek” and NCIS franchise streamer Paramount+ is offering half off its subscription fees for new or returning users’ first year.

Apple’s price rise took Apple TV+ to $12.99 per month, with neither an annual option, nor a lower-cost ad-supported tier. Under the new special offer, Paramount+ will cost from $2.50 per month.

Annually, it means Apple TV+ costs $155.88 — unless you have it via the Apple One Bundle — and Paramount+ costs $30. That’s for the ad-supported version, but Paramount+ is also offering an ad-free tier for $5.99/month, or $71.88 per year.
