The department closed the call at 6:24 p.m., about 45 minutes later, and the listing identifies Engine 71 as the only assigned unit.
The dispatch record doesn’t describe the damage, identify what burned, or say how the fire started. It also doesn’t mention an Apple employee, a cigarette, injuries, evacuations, structural damage, or any disruption to Apple Park.
A July 24 post from ShrimpApplePro claimed that an Apple employee discarded a cigarette near the campus fence, starting a fire that spread to fencing installed in 2025. ShrimpApplePro didn’t identify a source, provide a damage estimate, or offer evidence connecting an employee to the fire.
