The executive who spearheaded Apple Pay, Jennifer Bailey, is retiring after 12 years as Vice President of Internet Services and Apple Pay.

Under Bailey’s leadership, Apple launched Apple Wallet, Apple Pay, and Apple Card. She also supervises Tap to Pay on iPhone, Apple Gift Cards, and Apple Cash internationally.

She joined the company in 2003 as Vice President of Worldwide Online Stores in 2003, and was promoted in 2014.
