Only hours before Apple’s iPhone event, a final set of rumors paints a clear picture of what Apple’s foldable will be and what it may be called — iPhone Duo.

Apple wanted a sub-$2,000 price point for its first foldable iPhone, but the AI-driven RAM shortages and other supply chain constraints pushed prices higher. While some costs can be eaten through Apple’s usual means, some had to be passed to customers.

According to a report from Bloomberg, Apple’s foldable will be called iPhone Duo and start at $2,000 with 256GB of storage. Higher storage tiers will be much more costly to subsidize the entry price.
