Apple will avoid launching pre-orders of its latest iPhones on 9/11 by having them begin in the United States on Saturday September 12.

Apple’s 2026 iPhone lineup goes on pre-order Saturday

The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max have been revealed by Apple during its “Surprise and Shine” event. While price hikes and limited RAM supplies are sure to make this an interesting iPhone season, we now know when eager customers can place an order.

Both new iPhone models will be available for pre-order at the same time on Saturday, September 12, presumably at midnight Pacific. Normally Apple would open up pre-orders on the Friday following an event, but that would have fallen on the anniversary of 9/11.
