The iPhone Air 2 is rumored to last longer than the original thanks to a much larger battery, fixing one of the biggest flaws of the super-thin smartphone.

The iPhone Air was a device of compromise, with its thin frame made possible by some size-cutting specification choices. For the second-gen model, Apple is apparently seeking to right one of the perceived wrongs.

According to Weibo leaker Digital Chat Station on July 7, citing the supply chain, the iPhone Air 2 will have a battery with a capacity of around 3,500mAh.
