The section of Apple Park Visitor Center that’s housed its VR exhibition for almost a decade has been temporarily closed for an unspecified refurbishment.
This appears to be the section that has closed: it’s the store’s exhibition space, shown here in 2017 when Apple added a virtual and augmented reality feature.
Back in 2017, long before the Apple Vision Pro was announced, Apple added an augmented reality feature to its visitor center’s Exhibition Space. It was a model of Apple Park, and at the time was designed to be looked at through an iPad which would overlay details of the real building.
Now the Exhibition Space has been closed, with Apple saying that there is an “update in progress.”
