Apple has confirmed that macOS 27 Golden Gate will arrive on September 14 with iOS 27, bringing a sizable collection of new features and improvements to the Mac.

As with Apple’s other operating system updates, macOS 27 introduces Siri AI, with conversational responses, personal context, and the ability to complete complex actions across apps. A new, dedicated Siri app stores previous conversations, while Spotlight adds Siri AI as a search option.
Visual Intelligence lets users ask Siri about onscreen content by taking a screenshot. Siri can also generate text, provide writing feedback, and work with content across supported apps.
