Apple is adding a dedicated animation for attaching a Hermes MagSafe wallet to an iPhone, according to code found in the iOS 27 release candidate.

When a compatible wallet is attached, the Hermes logo is displayed. This is a unique animation instead of the standard one that plays when an Apple MagSafe wallet is attached.

Apple also appears to be preparing additional Hermes MagSafe wallet designs. Images shared by pdfu on X show several new colors and materials, including leather and patterned options.
