A series of 14 iPhone 18 Pro models will be spread around Dodger Stadium to capture the “Friday Night Baseball” game, providing unique vantage points.

Apple will once again use iPhones during an MLB game

Apple first used iPhone cameras to capture a Major League Baseball Game in September 2025. The new iPhone 18 Pro models with variable aperture have launched just in time to be used in Friday’s MLB game.

The “Friday Night Baseball” game between the San Francisco Giants and Los Angeles Dodgers will have 14 iPhone 18 Pro models stationed around the stadium. Apple has shared with AppleInsider that the iPhone’s small size allows it to be in places no broadcast camera could fit.
