Apple’s next low-cost iPad is shaping up to get a faster chip and the hardware needed to run Apple Intelligence.

The 12th-generation iPad is expected to bring Apple Intelligence and its Siri features to Apple’s entry-level tablet. It could also gain faster cellular and wireless connectivity.

This appears to be the same iPad that was rumored to release in early 2026.
