A hunt for a runaway thief turns into a fight for survival in upcoming Apple TV thriller “Sacrament.”

Apple Original Films is developing “Sacrament,” a thriller starring “F1” actor Damson Idris. Jonathan Levine is attached to direct, while Idris will also produce.
As Deadline notes, the film follows two Chicago cops-turned-contractors, tracking a runaway thief to a remote township in Sacrament, Utah. While the job starts out routine enough, it quickly escalates into a battle where the pair are outnumbered.
